Role Summary :

- In this unique role, youll spend 80% of your time building a new internal tool to streamline operations and 20% assisting with the RHEL 9 upgrade process across our infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities :

80% New Tool Development :

- Design and develop a new internal tool using Python and modern development practices

- Build robust APIs and integrate with existing internal/external services

- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

- Participate in code reviews and contribute across the full SDLC

20% Technical Operations (RHEL 9 Upgrade Support):

- Support RHEL 9 upgrade planning, testing, and deployment

- Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and compatibility issues

- Automate deployment/configuration with Python scripts

- Monitor and maintain system health post-upgrade

Required Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience with Linux (RHEL preferred)

- Advanced Python development backend + automation scripting

- Proficient in RESTful API design & development

- Familiarity with CI/CD, system monitoring, and performance optimization
