Job Title : Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

Work Location :
HITEC City, Hyderabad, Telangana 500081

Work Setup : Hybrid - 4 days from office

Shift Schedule Expectations :

- Candidates should be available 24/7, including night and early morning shifts.

However, we are flexible and suggests the following :

Day 1 Schedule : Comfortable Work Hours - 13 :30 IST to 21 :30 IST

Mandatory On-Call Availability : 03 :30 IST to 21 :30 IST

A three-shift system is anticipated to support 24/7 coverage.

Job Summary : Acts as a technical expert and mentor, focusing on complex reliability challenges and automation.

Key Responsibilities :

- Provide 24/7 SRE coverage

- Maintain dashboards and observability tools

- Conduct root cause analysis and incident resolution

- Maintain SOPs and knowledge base

- Report on KPIs such as MTTA, MTTR, SLA compliance

- Configurations and Software Enhancements

- Develop and maintain SCADA integrations using Ignition platform

- Design and implement Python-based service applications for automation and data processing

- Ensure secure and reliable logical communication between field devices and control systems

- Collaborate with Operational Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT) teams to align SCADA architecture with enterprise standards

- Perform version control, testing, and deployment of Ignition projects

- Support edge device configuration and data ingestion pipelines

- Design and implement scalable infrastructure solutions

- Lead incident response and root cause analysis

- Mentor junior SREs and contribute to team knowledge sharing

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

- 5+ years of experience in SRE or related roles

- Strong Python programming skills

- Experience with Kubernetes, Kafka, and SCADA systems

- Proficiency in monitoring tools and incident response

- Familiarity with ServiceNow and Splunk

Preferred Qualifications :

- Certifications in Kubernetes or cloud platforms

- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
