Job Title : Senior SSIS Developer / ETL Optimization Engineer

Position Overview :

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SSIS Developer with 10+ years of expertise in ETL development, SQL Server, and end-to-end data integration. This role focuses on designing efficient ETL pipelines, optimizing existing SSIS workflows, and ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance across enterprise data solutions. The ideal candidate excels at troubleshooting, performance tuning, and collaborating with cross-functional technical teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and deploy scalable SSIS packages for ETL, data transformation, and data loading workflows.

- Optimize existing SSIS packages and SQL processes for improved performance, reliability, and maintainability.

- Analyze data workflow bottlenecks and apply tuning practices such as parallel execution, indexing, buffer configuration, and partitioning.

- Collaborate with data architects, DBAs, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver robust data integration solutions.

- Implement comprehensive error handling, logging, and automated alerting within ETL pipelines.

- Enhance and maintain existing data workflows to align with evolving business needs.

- Perform code reviews and enforce best practices in ETL development and SQL optimization.

- Document end-to-end ETL workflows, data mappings, design decisions, and technical specifications.

- Support production deployments and troubleshoot data pipeline issues proactively.

Required Qualifications :

- 10+ years of hands-on experience with SSIS and SQL Server (T-SQL, MySQL, stored procedures, performance tuning).

- Proven experience optimizing SSIS packages and SQL queries in large-scale enterprise environments.

- Strong understanding of ETL principles, data warehousing concepts, and relational database design.

- Experience with job scheduling tools such as SQL Server Agent and Control-M.

- Familiarity with version control systems including Git or TFS.

- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and performance tuning skills.

- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation capabilities.
