Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Node.js Integration Architect with 10+ years of software development experience and strong expertise in designing enterprise integration architectures, APIs, microservices, and scalable distributed systems.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining and implementing integration strategies that connect diverse enterprise applications, cloud platforms, databases, third-party systems, and messaging platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and define enterprise integration architecture for connecting multiple applications, platforms, databases, and third-party systems.

- Architect scalable, secure, reusable, and high-performance integration solutions using Node.js and modern backend technologies.

- Design and develop APIs, microservices, connectors, middleware components, and data integration workflows.

- Define API architecture, standards, governance, security, versioning, and best practices across the organization.

- Design integrations between on-premise systems, cloud platforms, SaaS applications, and enterprise applications.

- Architect and implement RESTful APIs, SOAP services, webhooks, and event-driven integration solutions.

- Design and implement microservices and distributed system architectures with a focus on scalability, reliability, and maintainability.

- Lead technical design discussions and provide architectural guidance to development teams.

- Establish coding standards, architectural guidelines, reusable frameworks, and best practices for integration development.

- Conduct architecture reviews and code reviews to ensure high-quality technical solutions.

- Work closely with development teams to provide hands-on technical leadership and resolve complex technical challenges.

- Design database integration strategies and work with RDBMS platforms such as MySQL and other relational databases.

- Mentor and guide engineers and developers on Node.js development, integration architecture, APIs, and microservices.

Required Qualifications:

- 10+ years of overall software development and technology experience.

- 5+ years of strong hands-on experience with Node.js and backend application development.

- 4+ years of experience designing and building microservices and service-oriented architectures.

- Strong expertise in REST APIs, API design, API lifecycle management, API versioning, and API security.

- Experience working with SOAP APIs, REST APIs, webhooks, and third-party system integrations.

- 3+ years of experience with messaging and event-driven technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, IBM MQ, SQS, SNS, Confluent, or similar platforms.

- 2+ years of experience with cloud integration and serverless architecture.

- 4+ years of experience working with relational databases, preferably MySQL.

- Strong SQL skills with experience writing and optimizing complex queries.

- Experience with ORM frameworks and database integration patterns.
