Job Overview :

We are looking for a developer to build and maintain SIP-based converged communication applications using Java. The role involves developing SIP-enabled applications that interact with HTTP APIs and telecom media components to enable advanced voice services. Experience with Oracle Communications Converged Application Server (OCCAS) is desirable but not mandatory. Strong expertise in Java, SIP Servlets, and telecom protocols is essential.

Key Roles & Responsibilities :

- Design and develop SIP-based converged applications using Java and SIP Servlet APIs.

- Implement voice and messaging workflows integrating SIP signaling with HTTP/REST APIs.

- Build telecom service logic such as call routing, call control, media interaction, and event handling.

- Work with RTP/SRTP media streams and integrate with media servers for voice processing.

- Develop features like call transfers, call recording triggers, call monitoring, and media traversal.

- Integrate applications with SBCs, media servers, and telephony platforms.

- Troubleshoot SIP call flows, signaling issues, and RTP media problems.

- Collaborate with DevOps teams for deployment, testing, and performance optimization.

- Write clean, modular, and scalable code for telecom-grade applications.

Required Skills :

- Strong proficiency in Java.

- Hands-on experience with SIP Servlet API and SIP-based application development.

- Strong understanding of SIP protocol, SIP call flows, and telecom signaling concepts.

- Good knowledge of RTP and SRTP media streams.

- Experience building converged applications integrating SIP with HTTP/REST APIs.

- Understanding of media traversal, call control, call transfer, and call routing logic.

- Experience debugging SIP messages using tools like Wireshark or SIP trace tools.

- Familiarity with telecom architectures involving SBCs and media servers.
