Role Overview :

As a Technical Implementation Engineer, you will play a critical role in deploying, configuring, and customizing SIONIQ ERP systems at client sites. You will work at the intersection of product engineering, client IT infrastructure, and business process automation to ensure high-availability, secure, and optimized deployments. This role involves deep hands-on engagement with enterprise application environments, metadata-driven configuration, REST API integration, and real-time diagnostics.

Core Responsibilities :

Installation & Configuration :

- Deploy ERP systems on client infrastructure (on-premise, private cloud, or hybrid).

- Configure system modules using metadata-driven setup tools and YAML/JSON templates.

- Set up integration endpoints and authentication protocols (OAuth2, SAML).

Customization & Scripting :

- Develop lightweight scripts or plugins using JavaScript, SQL, or Python for client-specific workflows.

- Create validation rules, automation scripts, and business logic extensions using SIONIQ's scripting engine.

System Integration & APIs :

- Integrate ERP with third-party systems (e.g., CRMs, payment gateways, warehouse systems) using REST/SOAP APIs.

- Perform API testing and data mapping for seamless interoperability.

Data Migration & Transformation :

- Perform initial data load using structured migration templates (CSV, Excel, JSON).

- Write SQL scripts or use ETL tools to migrate and validate historical data.

Client Environment Readiness :

- Assess clients IT infrastructure (OS, DB, network) for compliance with ERP prerequisites.

- Coordinate with client sysadmins to provision VMs, firewalls, and SSL certificates.

User Enablement & Training :

- Conduct technical and functional training sessions for client administrators and end-users.

- Provide technical documentation, admin guides, and system diagrams.

Issue Resolution & Support :

- Diagnose application performance issues using logs, tracebacks, and database profiling.

- Liaise with the core engineering team to escalate bugs, patch issues, or request feature enhancements.

Technical Requirements :

- Strong understanding of software implementation lifecycle: installation, customization, testing, deployment, and support.

- Experience working with databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL/SQL Server); ability to write efficient queries, joins, views.

- Exposure to Linux-based environments and command-line operations.

- Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and basic CI/CD concepts.

- Working knowledge of API integration using tools like Postman, Swagger, or Insomnia.

- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Zoho, TallyPrime, or in-house ERP platforms).

- Knowledge of business domains such as Finance, Inventory, Procurement, or Manufacturing is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent technical discipline.

- ERP implementation experience with a focus on client-facing deployment and customization.

- Strong communication and client engagement skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical specifications.

- Willingness to travel for client implementations as needed.
