Simpliigence - Senior Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Engineer

- Architect and develop a production-grade, scalable AI/ML platform.

- Implement automation and CI/CD best practices for machine learning workflows.

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including AI/ML engineers and business stakeholders.

- Contribute hands-on to coding, pipeline development, and platform optimization.

- Drive innovation and ensure adherence to engineering best practices in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain production-grade AI/ML platforms leveraging AWS services and Kubernetes.

- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, APIs, and automation scripts for AI/ML workflows.

- Collaborate with AI/ML teams to deploy, monitor, and optimize models in production.

- Implement best practices for version control, testing, deployment, and monitoring of AI/ML models.

- Support infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform or equivalent tools.

- Optimize workflows for data ingestion, processing, and model training.

- Ensure platform scalability, reliability, and security.

- Mentor and guide junior engineers in best coding and DevOps practices.

Required Qualifications & Skills :

- 7+ years of experience in a complex, technical environment.

- Strong programming experience in Python, SQL, and Pandas.

- Hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, EC2, EMR, S3, Glue, Athena, RDS, IAM, SageMaker, Batch processing, Airflow at least 3 of these).

- Experience with DevOps tools and practices : Kubernetes, Docker, GitHub, GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, Jenkins.

- Experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines for ML workflows.

- Working knowledge of relational (SQL) and NoSQL databases; experience with Snowflake is a plus.

- Experience with ML workflow management tools such as Kubeflow and MLflow is a plus.

- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related field.

- 5 to 7+ years of experience in AI/ML development with production-level model ownership.

- Experience working at an AI-first company or contributing to AI/ML research or open-source projects.

- Familiarity with batch processing and real-time data pipelines in production.
