Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal DevOps Architect with a minimum of 10+ years in designing and implementing highly scalable, secure, and automated cloud infrastructure solutions. The role requires deep, hands-on expertise in AWS/OCI cloud services, advanced Kubernetes (EKS) management, and an Automation-First mindset using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible). The Architect will provide Technical Leadership to optimize CI/CD pipelines, enhance system performance, and establish architectural governance across the enterprise.

Job Description :

Cloud Architecture and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) :

- Design, implement, and optimize scalable, secure, and high-performing infrastructure primarily on AWS and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

- Possess mandatory 5+ years hands-on experience in AWS, configuring complex networking and core infrastructure components like Elastic Load Balancers (ELB), VPCs, and Security Groups.

- Lead the adoption and governance of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Ansible to manage, provision, and version control all cloud resources in an automated and repeatable manner.

- Apply expertise in Linux systems configuration and administration to manage the operating systems underlying container and cloud environments.

CI/CD, Containerization, and Automation :

- Design and implement end-to-end Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines with platforms like Jenkins to automate the build, test, and deployment of applications through to production.

- Possess mandatory 4+ years hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS), including configuration, cluster provisioning, and advanced deployment strategies (e.g., Blue/Green, Canary).

- Implement and govern the use of containers (Docker) as immutable build artifacts throughout the entire CI/CD lifecycle, ensuring consistency between environments.

- Establish comprehensive Monitoring and Alerts solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch) to track system performance, identify bottlenecks, and ensure application responsiveness and quality.

Leadership, Optimization, and Quality :

- Apply strong Strategic Thinking and Problem-Solving skills to identify technical debt, bottlenecks, and performance issues, devising robust solutions to optimize costs and efficiency.

- Provide technical guidance and Mentorship to junior DevOps Engineers and development teams on best practices for cloud utilization, security, and automation.

- Demonstrate a proven, verifiable track record of implementing continuous deployment (CD) methodologies that reliably push changes through testing environments and into production.

- Advocate for an Automation-First approach in all processes, from security compliance checking to environment provisioning.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Experience : Minimum 10+ years in DevOps/Cloud Architecture roles.

- AWS : Mandatory 5+ years hands-on experience in AWS, including networking, ELB, and system configuration.

- Linux : Expertise in Linux systems configuration.

- Kubernetes : Mandatory 4+ years hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS), including configuration, provisioning, and deployment to production environments.

- Containerization : Experience using containers as build artifacts.

- CI/CD : Demonstrable track record of implementing continuous deployment (CD) through to production, utilizing tools like Jenkins.

- Infrastructure : Deep expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible) is essential (Derived from Job Summary).

- Monitoring : Strong skills in implementing and managing Monitoring and Alerts.

Preferred Skills :

- Certifications : AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional) or Kubernetes Certification (e.g., CKA/CKS/CKAD).
