WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US :
We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer who will be responsible for leading and driving the design, development, and implementation of complex software solutions. With typically 7+ years of experience, this role involves collaborating in cross-functional teams to develop high-quality software that meets business requirements and technical specifications.

This position requires advanced problem-solving skills, expertise in software engineering practices, and the ability to work in a collaborative and demanding environment
WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR :
You will be using multiple technologies, and your responsibilities will also include :
- Lead the design and development of software solutions, ensuring they meet business needs and technical requirements
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams, promoting a collaborative and productive environment.
- Collaborate with product management, design, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring high-quality solutions that are scalable, reliable, and performant.
- Ensure adherence to software development best practices, including coding standards, testing, and documentation.
- Be responsible for key features and components, leading their design and implementation from concept to delivery.
- Continuously assess and improve engineering processes, recommending new tools and technologies to enhance productivity and software quality
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring that the team follows best practices and maintains high standards for software quality
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR :
- Most importantly, you can see yourself contributing and thriving in the position described above. How you gained the skills needed for doing that is less important. We expect you to be good at several of the following and be able to - and interested in - learning the rest.
Programming :
- Enforces coding standards across the team for .NET Core APIs, C# and Angular applications.
- Delivers high-quality, secure, and maintainable code in complex, business-critical areas.
Databases & Data Structures :
- Relatively good understanding of relational (SQL Server/Azure SQL) or non-relational (Cosmos DB/MongoDB) databases.
DevOps & CI/CD :
- Experience of working with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
Cloud Technologies :
- Experience of working with cloud-native solutions on Azure (App Services, Functions, Storage, Key Vault).
- Experience of working with microservices architecture.
Design & Planning :
- Lead system architecture for major subsystems integrating .NET back-end and Angular front-end.
- Partners with stakeholders to define technical direction and long-term plans.
Debugging & Problem Solving :
- Resolves complex, multi-service issues across distributed systems.
- Improves system resilience and prevents recurrence through root-cause analysis and system-level fixes.
WHAT WE VALUE :
- Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-900, AZ-204).
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Podman).
BENEFITS :
Attractive salary, bonus scheme, and pension are essential for any work agreement. However, in SimCorp we believe we can offer more. Therefore, in addition to the traditional benefit scheme, we provide a good work-life balance: flexible working hours and a hybrid model. Simcorp follows a global hybrid policy, asking employees to work from the office two days each week while allowing remote work on other days.
