About the job :

Role Overview :

In this role, youll be a key steward of our cloud, SaaS, and on-premises enterprise applications, and youll collaborate with Business Analysts, IT Automation, Infrastructure, and Security teams to,

- Optimize business-critical applications using AI-driven solutions.

- Enhance performance, security, and compliance across our application ecosystem

- Leverage new technologies to deliver greater value and smarter operations

Key Accountabilities/Decision Making & Influence :

Application Ownership :


- Serve as the primary contact for assigned enterprise applications across their lifecycle, including basic administration, and monitoring day-to-day health and security.

- You will also shadow senior engineers for patches, upgrades, and deployments to build up knowledge and expertise.

- Technical Support : Provide tier 2/3 support during business hours (India timezone), resolving issues and coordinating with other teams as needed.

- Business Partnership : Work with Business Analysts to understand requirements, assess feasibility, and ensure applications meet business needs.

- Integrations & Automation : Collaborate with the IT Automations team on API integrations.

- Build simple workflow automations and proof-of-concepts using low-code platforms (Power Automate, N8N).

- Documentation & Knowledge Sharing Create and maintain clear documentation such as runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge base articles.

- Participate in knowledge transfer and rotation activities to build coverage and avoid single points of failure.

Knowledge, Skills & Attribute :

- Education & Experience : Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent practical experience with 2 to 4 years in application support or IT operations.

- Application Administration : Experience managing and supporting enterprise applications (including SaaS platforms, configuration management, and lifecycle activities).

- Security Awareness : Understanding of basic security principles such as log analysis, vulnerability identification, and incident escalation procedures.

- APIs & Integrations : Working knowledge of API concepts and integration patterns, with the ability to support integration testing and troubleshooting.

- Scripting & Automation : Proficiency in at least one scripting language (PowerShell, Python, or JavaScript) for automation and troubleshooting.

- Low-Code/No-Code Tools : Experience using platforms like Power Automate or N8N to build simple automations and workflows.

- Problem-Solving : Strong analytical skills with a systematic approach to troubleshooting and root cause analysis.

- Communication : Clear and effective communication skills, capable of working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a globally distributed team.

- Work Style : Self-motivated, able to work independently with periodic check-ins, and skilled at managing multiple priorities simultaneously.

- Flexibility : Willingness to occasionally adapt to multiple time zones and support critical deployments or incident response outside normal hours while maintaining work-life balance.

Desirable :

- AI/ML Acumen : A keen interest or hands-on experience in leveraging AI/Machine Learning to build intelligent automations, agents, or embed AI capabilities into services and processes for value optimization.

- Experience in healthcare or life sciences industry with understanding of regulatory requirements.

- Passion for the digital improvement and optimization of a growing business.

- Certifications in relevant technologies (cloud platforms, ITIL, security).
