Role Overview :

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in AWS Cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes (EKS) to design, build, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud-native systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in CI/CD automation, container orchestration, and AWS security best practices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure using services such as EKS, EC2, Lambda, ECR, VPC, VPN, WAF, and RDS.

- Create, manage, and optimize Kubernetes clusters on Amazon EKS to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance.

- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for seamless application build, test, and deployment workflows.

- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools where applicable.

- Ensure high availability, performance optimization, and fault tolerance of production environments.

- Implement and enforce security best practices including IAM policies, encryption, network security, and access controls.

- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis to ensure operational stability.

- Apply principles of the AWS Well-Architected Framework across reliability, security, performance efficiency, cost optimization, and operational excellence.

- Collaborate closely with development, QA, and security teams to support cloud-native application delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services, including EKS, EC2, Lambda, ECR, VPC, VPN, WAF, and RDS.

- Proven expertise in Kubernetes and container orchestration in production environments.

- Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, especially for Kubernetes-based deployments.

- Solid understanding of cloud security and compliance, including IAM, encryption, and secure networking.

- Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and alerting tools in cloud environments.

- Familiarity with AWS Well-Architected Framework best practices.

- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and automation skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- AWS Certifications such as :

1. AWS Certified DevOps Engineer

2. AWS Certified Kubernetes Specialist

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).

- Exposure to microservices architecture and cloud-native application development.
