Shopify Tester

Job Summary :

Key Responsibilities :

- Conduct comprehensive cross-browser testing (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) and cross-device testing (desktop, tablet, mobile) to ensure uniform user experience and responsiveness.

- Identify and document UI/UX inconsistencies, bugs, or usability issues, and work closely with development

teams to resolve them.

- Validate the functioning of all critical integrations, including payment gateways, third-party plugins, and backend APIs.

- Ensure seamless data synchronization and accurate data flow between Shopify and connected systems such as inventory management, order processing, and CRM platforms.

- Test order lifecycle from placement to fulfillment to confirm integration accuracy.

- Develop, execute, and maintain detailed test cases, test plans, and test scripts for both manual and automated testing efforts.

- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand business

requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios.

- Perform regression testing for every release or update to ensure no disruption of existing functionality.

- Report and track defects using bug tracking tools, and verify fixes during subsequent testing cycles.

- Provide clear and concise testing documentation and reports to management and development teams.

Qualifications :

- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and responsive design testing.

- Hands-on experience with cross-browser and cross-device testing tools and methodologies.

- Experience testing integrations with payment gateways (e.g., PayPal, Stripe), third-party plugins, and RESTful APIs.

- Familiarity with backend systems such as inventory, order management, and CRM integrations.

- Knowledge of automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) is a plus.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.

- Excellent communication skills to document and communicate issues effectively.

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
