Shopify Developer - Javascript/Liquid Programming

We are seeking a skilled Shopify Developer with strong hands-on experience in Liquid, front-end development, and a solid background in PHP to build, customize, and optimize Shopify storefronts.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-performance, scalable, and user-friendly eCommerce solutions while ensuring seamless integrations with third-party systems.

Looking for candidates based in Jaipur or willing to relocate to Jaipur.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

- Integrate and configure Shopify apps, third-party plugins, and APIs.

- Work extensively with Liquid templates to create responsive, interactive, and visually engaging storefronts.

- Implement Shopify Checkout Extensions, Functions, and metafields/metaobject logic to enhance user experience and functionality.

- Utilize Shopify Admin API and GraphQL API for managing products, orders, and customer data.

- Optimize storefronts for performance, SEO, and mobile responsiveness.

- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues during UAT and post-deployment.

- Maintain, refactor, and upgrade existing Shopify codebases without impacting live features.

- Participate in code reviews, follow Git workflows, and maintain proper documentation.

- Stay updated with Shopifys latest releases, ecosystem updates, and development best practices.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, marketing, and backend for smooth project delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 2+ years of experience in Shopify theme and app development.

- Strong hands-on expertise in Liquid, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and SCSS/CSS3.

- 2+ Proven experience working with PHP for backend logic, API integrations, or custom Shopify app development.

- Familiarity with Shopify Flow, webhooks, custom apps, and App Proxy.

- Experience integrating ERP, CRM, or loyalty systems with Shopify.

- Strong understanding of Shopify APIs (REST & GraphQL) and eCommerce workflows.

- Sound knowledge of UX principles, SEO best practices, and accessibility standards.

- Experience with Git version control, debugging tools, and Agile development methodologies.

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
