Shopify Developer - Javascript Frameworks

Role Overview :

You should have deep expertise in Shopify's architecture, theming system, Liquid templating, and front-end technologies, with a strong understanding of ecommerce user journeys. Experience working with APIs, custom apps, and third-party integrations is essential.

Key Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with UI/UX and design teams to translate mockups and wireframes into

responsive, user-friendly websites.

- Customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+), with clean, scalable code.

- Develop and enhance features to optimize user experience and drive conversions across devices (mobile, tablet, desktop).

- Integrate Shopify with third-party tools and marketing platforms (analytics, CRM, payment gateways, ERP).

- Troubleshoot, debug, and test across browsers and devices to ensure performance and reliability.

- Work with Storefront API, AJAX API, and Metafields for advanced customizations and dynamic content.

- Maintain and improve site speed, usability, and SEO best practices.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including performance marketing and data teams to enable data-driven improvements.

What We're Looking For :

- Strong command of Liquid, JavaScript (ES6+), jQuery, HTML5, CSS3, and DOM manipulation.

- Hands-on experience with Shopify APIs (Storefront, Admin, AJAX), metafields, and Shopify CLI.

- Experience integrating and customizing third-party Shopify apps and external APIs.

- Ability to develop responsive layouts optimized for performance across all devices.

- Familiarity with Git version control and development tools such as Postman, Chrome

DevTools, etc.

- Proficient in cross-browser debugging and performance tuning.

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate in a fast-paced environment.

- Prior experience working with ecommerce-focused teams or agencies is a plus.
