Description :

Network Design & Implementation :

- Design, install, and configure LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN connections across all warehouses and project offices.

- Develop detailed network topology diagrams and maintain accurate documentation.

- Design scalable network solutions to support future expansion and automation systems (e.g., handheld scanners, IoT devices, IP cameras).

- Plan structured cabling layouts and coordinate with vendors for proper implementation.

- 25 years of experience in network administration or engineering.

- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, and switching.

- Hands-on experience with Sophos, Fortinet, or similar network equipment.

- Good understanding of structured cabling, fiber, and wireless technologies.

- Ability to handle multiple sites and travel to warehouse/project locations as needed.

- Monitor network performance using tools such as PRTG, SolarWinds, or similar platforms.

- Ensure uptime and availability across all sites and respond to outages proactively.

- Manage and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.

- Oversee IP address management, VLAN configurations, and routing policies.

- Perform preventive maintenance, firmware upgrades, and regular configuration backups

- Provide Level 2/3 support for network-related escalations from IT support teams.

- Train and guide local IT support staff at warehouse sites.
