Sharepoint Developer - On-Premises/Online

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead SharePoint Online migration projects, ensuring seamless transition from on-premises to cloud environments.

- Perform SharePoint patching, upgrades, and maintenance tasks for SharePoint Server environments.

- Manage SharePoint on-premises administration tasks including configuration, security, permissions, and troubleshooting.

- Maintain awareness and implement the latest SharePoint patches and vulnerability mitigations to secure the environment.

- Automate routine tasks and administration using Windows PowerShell scripting.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to resolve issues and deliver timely solutions.

- Support a 24x7 operational environment, ensuring system availability and reliability.

- Provide documentation and reporting related to SharePoint administration and migrations.

Mandatory Skills :

- Extensive experience with SharePoint Online migration and administration (SPO migration skills essential).

- Strong knowledge of SharePoint On-premises administration, patching, and maintenance.

- Proficient in Windows PowerShell for SharePoint automation and management.

- Understanding of the latest SharePoint patches, security updates, and vulnerability mitigation techniques.

- Experience in managing SharePoint Server environments including patching and server health monitoring.

Good to Have :

- PowerShell scripting expertise beyond basic administration.

- Familiarity with SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 suite of products (Teams, OneDrive, Exchange Online).
