Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Marketing Cloud Lead / Architect to take ownership of end-to-end SFMC architecture and solutioning for marketing automation initiatives.

This role will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and optimizing customer journeys and multi-channel campaigns to drive personalized and scalable engagement.

Key Responsibilities :


- Lead the design and implementation of scalable solutions on Salesforce Marketing Cloud.


- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.


- Architect and oversee complex multi-channel campaigns including email, SMS, push notifications, and journey automation.


- Leverage SFMC modules including Journey Builder, Email Studio, Mobile Studio, Automation Studio, Contact Builder, Content Builder, and Advertising Studio.


- Design and implement AMPscript, SQL queries, and SSJS for advanced personalization and data manipulation.


- Integrate SFMC with external systems (Salesforce CRM and third-party platforms) using APIs, data extensions, and synchronized data sources.


- Ensure data integrity, segmentation strategy, and compliance with GDPR/CCPA/email marketing regulations.


- Guide and mentor development teams on SFMC best practices and reusable component design.


- Own solution documentation, architecture diagrams, and technical specs.


- Stay current on SFMC product updates and industry marketing automation trends.

Must-Have Skills & Experience :


- 6+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud implementation and strategy


- Experience in designing multi-channel marketing campaigns and automated customer journeys


- Strong understanding of AMPscript, SQL, and SSJS


- Deep knowledge of Contact Builder, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and other SFMC tools


- Proven experience integrating SFMC with Salesforce CRM and other third-party platforms


- Understanding of data modeling, audience segmentation, and email deliverability best practices


- Solid grasp of API integrations (REST/SOAP) and cloud connector frameworks


- Experience in leading a technical team or project, with strong documentation and communication skills


- Familiarity with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and marketing compliance standards

Nice to Have :


- Salesforce certifications.


- Experience with SFTP, Cloud Pages, and dynamic content blocks


- Exposure to CDP (Customer Data Platform) or Marketing Cloud Intelligence (Datorama)


- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA)
