Job Overview :

We are looking for a highly skilled ServiceNow Playwright Automation Engineer with proven expertise in building, maintaining, and scaling automated test suites for ServiceNow applications.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing automation strategies, implementing end-to-end automated tests using Playwright, integrating them into CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring overall product quality.

This role requires a strong technical mindset, hands-on coding capability, and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to support continuous delivery and high-quality releases.

Key Responsibilities :

Automation Development & Execution :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright for Web UI and functional testing.

- Build scalable, reusable, and modular automation frameworks aligned with industry best practices.

- Execute automated test suites, analyze results, and drive timely defect identification and resolution.

- Ensure adequate test coverage across functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing cycles.

ServiceNow Testing :

- Develop automation test cases specifically for ServiceNow modules, custom applications, and workflows.

- Validate ServiceNow UI, forms, flows, and business rules through automated and manual testing.

- Collaborate with ServiceNow developers to understand platform changes and automation impact.

Quality Engineering & Delivery :

- Participate in requirement analysis, story refinement, and test planning with product and engineering teams.

- Document test scenarios, test strategies, and automation best practices.

- Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives by identifying test gaps and optimizations.

CI/CD Integration :

- Integrate Playwright automation suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar).

- Maintain version control and configuration management of automation assets.

- Support continuous testing adoption in DevOps environments.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong hands-on experience in Playwright-based automation for UI and functional testing.

- Proven experience in designing and maintaining test automation frameworks.

- Working experience with ServiceNow applications and understanding of its architecture.

- Solid understanding of test methodologies, QA processes, and SDLC.

- Knowledge of writing, debugging, and optimizing automated scripts.

- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively across engineering, QA, and product teams
