ServiceNow Mobile Developer

About the Role :

We are seeking a ServiceNow Mobile Developer with strong expertise in designing and building modern mobile experiences using ServiceNows Mobile Studio, Now Mobile, and Mobile Agent applications. This role is ideal for professionals who are proficient in ServiceNow applet development, mobile configuration, and platform integrations while being capable of delivering robust and intuitive mobile-first interfaces for enterprise workflows.

You will be responsible for leading end-to-end mobile design, development, performance tuning, and support of ServiceNow mobile applications within a cross-functional agile team environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Customize mobile interfaces using ServiceNow Applet Launchers, Data Items, and Navigation Menus to

reflect business requirements and branding guidelines.

- Develop mobile-friendly workflows for Forms, Lists, Approvals, Task Management, and Notifications.

- Integrate mobile functionality with ServiceNow platform capabilities, including but not limited to :

1. Flow Designer

2. Now Experience Framework

3. Glide APIs

4. REST/SOAP Integrations

- Collaborate with ServiceNow backend developers to design data models and APIs that enhance the mobile

experience.

- Analyze app performance and implement optimization techniques to improve loading speed, responsiveness, and efficiency.

- Conduct root cause analysis, debugging, and bug fixing to address production issues and defects in mobile applications.

- Provide technical support and ensure mobile applications meet accessibility, security, and usability standards.

- Work closely with product owners, UX/UI designers, and business analysts to deliver responsive and intuitive user experiences.

- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

- Document technical designs, test cases, and deployment plans to support release management and CI/CD practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Hands-on experience with :

1. ServiceNow Mobile Studio

2. Now Mobile and Mobile Agent

3. Applet Launcher, Applets, Data Items, and Navigation

- Proficient in JavaScript, Glide APIs, UI Policies, Client Scripts, and UI Scripts in a mobile context.

- Strong understanding of the ServiceNow architecture, data model, and platform components.

- Experience working with Flow Designer, REST APIs, and Integration Hub.

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development, version control (e.g., Git), and CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

- Strong communication skills for stakeholder interaction and cross-functional collaboration.
