Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer (4- 8 years) with a strong focus on the IT Service Management (ITSM) suite. This role requires in-depth, hands-on development and scripting experience to build, configure, and maintain core ITSM applications, service catalogs, and knowledge bases. The developer will be responsible for implementing robust workflows, managing integrations, and providing essential production support within an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Development & Configuration : Design and configure core ITSM applications, including Incident, Change, Problem, Service Catalog, and Knowledge Management.

- Scripting & Customization : Hands-on experience developing using various ServiceNow components, including Inbound Actions, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Business Rules, UI Actions, and Script Includes.

- Data Management : Expertise in managing data flow using Import Sets and Transform Maps.

- Workflow Automation : Develop and manage automation using Flow Designer or traditional Workflows.

- Integration : Implement and maintain integrations using SOAP or REST technologies.

- Support & Analysis : Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for production support issues and manage system Notifications.

Required Technical Skills & Competencies (Must-Have) :

- Core ITSM : Strong experience and expertise in the ITSM suite, specifically Service Catalog, Knowledge, Incident, Change, and Problem modules.

- Scripting : Scripting experience is mandatory (e.g., JavaScript).

- Platform Components : Hands-on experience with :

1. Inbound Actions, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Business Rules, UI Actions.

2. Import Sets, Transform Maps, and Notifications.

3. Automation : Hands-on experience with Flow Designer or Workflows.

4. Integrations : Good knowledge of SOAP or REST integrations.

5. Methodology : Experience working under the Agile methodology.

Desired Skills (Good-to-Have) :

- Exposure to other ServiceNow modules such as GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance), ITOM (IT Operations Management), or ITBM (IT Business Management).
