ServiceNow ITOM Developer

We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow ITOM Developer to implement and support ITOM modules, including Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and CMDB. This role enhances operational visibility, automates infrastructure discovery, and integrates ITOM with enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and configure ITOM modules (Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, CMDB).

- Implement and maintain MID Servers, credentials, and probes.

- Integrate ServiceNow ITOM with external monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Dynatrace, Nagios).

- Customize ServiceNow using JavaScript, Glide API, workflows, and business rules.

- Maintain CMDB health using identification and reconciliation rules.

- Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to map services and CI relationships.

- Troubleshoot ITOM issues and optimize system performance.

- Participate in design reviews, testing, and deployment.

- Document technical solutions and provide knowledge transfer.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5+ years of ServiceNow development experience, with 3+ years in ITOM.

- Strong understanding of networking, cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure), and ITIL practices.

- Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting and automation.

- Experience with CMDB architecture, data modeling, and health dashboards.

- Familiarity with ServiceNow MID Server setup and troubleshooting.

Preferred Certifications :

- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)

- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist ITOM

- ITIL Foundation Certification
