We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow IRM Consultant with strong hands-on experience in designing, configuring, and implementing ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management (IRM) solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of IRM/GRC frameworks, ServiceNow platform configuration, and integrations, along with a solid foundation in backend development and scripting. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement risk, compliance, and audit processes that align with organizational goals and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities :
ServiceNow IRM Implementation & Configuration :
Design, configure, and implement ServiceNow IRM (Integrated Risk Management) modules such as :
- Risk Management
- Policy & Compliance
- Audit Management
- Operational Resilience
- Regulatory Change Management
- Continuous Authorization and Monitoring
Customize and enhance IRM modules using :
- Workflows
- Business rules
- Client scripts
- UI policies
- UI actions
- Notifications
Platform Development & Backend Engineering :
- Develop backend functionalities using JavaScript, Glide APIs, RESTful APIs, XML, Jelly scripting, AngularJS, and other ServiceNow-supported technologies.
- Build integrations with third-party systems using REST/SOAP, MID Server, or other integration methods.
- Configure ACLs and security controls to ensure data integrity and platform security.
CMDB & Data Management :
- Work closely with CMDB teams to ensure proper data mapping, class definitions, and relationship management.
- Integrate IRM solutions with CMDB for accurate visibility into assets, risks, and controls.
- Support CMDB audits, data quality improvements, and risk-based asset classification.
Risk & Compliance Enablement :
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications for IRM workflows.
Implement and enhance processes across :
- Operational Risk Management
- Policy & Compliance
- Audit Management
- Issue Management
- Regulatory tracking
- Control monitoring
- Provide insights into GRC/IRM industry trends, best practices, and regulatory expectations.
Technical Documentation & Collaboration :
- Prepare detailed technical documentation including solution designs, configuration changes, and integration diagrams.
- Partner with business stakeholders, risk teams, and IT teams to deliver effective solutions.
- Support UAT, troubleshooting, and post-deployment optimizations.
Innovation & Modernization :
- Leverage ServiceNow features such as Virtual Agent / chatbot integration to enhance user engagement.
- Recommend enhancements and automation opportunities to streamline risk and compliance operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow IRM/GRC solutions.
Strong proficiency in :
- ServiceNow configurations (workflows, scripting, UI policies, UI actions, ACLs)
- JavaScript, XML, REST APIs, AngularJS, Jelly scripting
- Experience with CMDB : class modeling, data mapping, and relationships.
Understanding of risk and compliance frameworks such as :
- Policy Management
- Compliance Management
- Operational Risk
- Audit Management
- Resilience & Continuity Programs
- Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
