Description : ServiceNow HRSD Developer

Role Summary :



We are seeking a highly specialized ServiceNow HRSD Developer to design, configure, and maintain our Human Resources Service Delivery platform. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming HR business requirements into technical solutions that enhance the employee experience.


You will focus on the full spectrum of HRSD modules, including Case Management, Lifecycle Events, and the Employee Service Center (ESC).


The ideal candidate is an expert in the ServiceNow "Clean Core" approach, capable of building complex workflows and seamless integrations with global HRIS systems like Workday and SAP SuccessFactors while ensuring strict data privacy and security standards.

Technical Responsibilities :



- Module Configuration and Architecture : Configure and customize the HRSD Core applications, including HR Case Management, Knowledge Management, and the Employee Service Center, adhering to the COE (Center of Excellence) data structure.

- Workflow and Logic Development : Design and implement complex HR Lifecycle Events (Onboarding, Offboarding, Transfers) using Activity Sets and Workflows to automate cross-departmental tasks.

- Service Portal and ESC Customization : Customize the Employee Service Center (ESC) using HTML, CSS, and Angular Providers to create intuitive, brand-aligned employee experiences and targeted content delivery.

- Advanced Scripting : Develop and maintain high-quality Client Scripts, UI Policies, Business Rules, and Script Includes using JavaScript and the ServiceNow Glide API to extend platform functionality.

- Integration Engineering : Architect and build robust integrations between ServiceNow and external HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SuccessFactors, Oracle) using IntegrationHub, REST/SOAP APIs, and Mid Servers.

- Catalog Item Design : Create and manage sophisticated HR Catalog Items and Record Producers, utilizing advanced scripting for dynamic variable behavior and multi-level approval flows.

- Data Security and Privacy : Implement and audit HR Security Profiles, ACLs, and Data Encryption to ensure sensitive employee data is protected and compliant with global regulations (GDPR, SOC2).

- Analytics and Reporting : Build real-time HR Dashboards and Performance Analytics (PA) widgets to track key metrics like Case Deflection, First Response Time, and SLA achievement.

- Platform Upgrades and Maintenance : Lead technical evaluations for ServiceNow family releases (e.g., Xanadu, Washington DC), performing impact analysis and remediation of customized objects.

- UAT and Technical Documentation : Partner with HR stakeholders to support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and maintain exhaustive technical documentation, including High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents.

Primary Technical Skills :


- ServiceNow Modules : Expert knowledge of HRSD (Core, ESC, Lifecycle Events, Employee Journey Management).

- Programming Languages : Proficiency in JavaScript (ES5/ES6), HTML5, CSS3, and AngularJS.

- ServiceNow APIs : Deep understanding of the Glide API (GlideRecord, GlideSystem, GlideAggregate).

- Integration Tools : Hands-on experience with IntegrationHub, Web Services (REST/SOAP), and JSON/XML data parsing.

- ITIL Framework : Strong understanding of ITIL processes specifically tailored for HR Service Management.

Preferred Skills & Certifications :



- Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS-HR) : Valid ServiceNow CIS-HRSD certification is highly preferred.

- AI and Virtual Agent : Experience implementing ServiceNow Virtual Agent with NLU (Natural Language Understanding) for HR case deflection.

- Scoped Application Development : Proven experience in building and managing Scoped Applications within the ServiceNow ecosystem.

- Automated Test Framework (ATF) : Proficiency in using ATF to automate regression testing for HRSD customizations and upgrades.

- Advanced Portal Skills : Experience with the Service Portal Widget development and the new Employee Center (EC) framework.

- HRIS Knowledge : Functional understanding of HR business processes such as payroll cycles, benefits enrollment, and performance management.
