- 5+ years experience in software development, with significant hands-on experience delivering ServiceNow application development for IT Service Request (ITSR) capabilities.

- Strong JavaScript development skills, with excellent ServiceNow scripting experience (client scripts, business rules, script includes, UI policies/actions).

- Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform fundamentals, including data model/data layer concepts and configuration vs customisation best practice.

- Proven experience building ITSR-aligned request solutions, including :

1. Service Catalogue items, Record Producers, Order Guides, Variables/Variable Sets

2. Approvals, fulfilment workflows, SLAs, notifications, and task orchestration

3. Flow Designer and workflow patterns for request fulfilment

- Hands-on Service Portal development experience for request journeys (catalogue/request pages, widgets, portal configuration and UX improvements).

- Strong knowledge of update set hierarchy and deployment/promotion practices across environments.

- Integration experience, including REST/API integrations and exposure to SOAP/web services where required, to support request fulfilment and downstream systems.

- Experience working with ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change) where they interface with request fulfilment and operational processes.

- Demonstrated ability to design and document process-based solutions, including use cases, request/fulfilment process maps, and BPM/workflow documentation.

- ServiceNow certification preferred/required : CSA and/or CIS (as applicable).

- Ability to translate business requirements into end-to-end request processes and technical solutions; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- End-to-end delivery experience across solution design, build, test, deployment, and hypercare/support.

- Strong communication and facilitation skills, able to explain complex technical scenarios clearly and concisely to different audiences.
