ServiceNow Software Engineer

Work Location : Noida, Bangalore, or Hyderabad (Hybrid - 2-3 days/week in office)

Experience (Relevant) : 5+ years

Shift Timings : US Shift Hours - Flexible (4 PM/5 PM - 1 AM/2 AM IST)

Key Responsibilities :

As a ServiceNow Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting and enhancing our client's core Enterprise ServiceNow platform. Your responsibilities will include :

- Supporting existing core Enterprise ServiceNow platform functionality, ensuring its stability and optimal performance.

- Delivering configuration tasks and implementing new features to meet evolving business needs.

- Collaborating closely with scoped application teams on integrations and plug-in installations to expand platform capabilities.

- Triaging and resolving incident tickets related to the platform and hosted applications efficiently.

Required Technical Skills :

To excel in this role, you must possess strong technical proficiency in :

- ServiceNow Platform Development : In-depth experience with ServiceNow platform capabilities, including but not limited to, ServiceNow Studio, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, Service Portal, and UI Policies/Client Scripts/Business Rules.

- Scripting Languages : Strong command of JavaScript, GlideScript, and AngularJS for developing and customizing ServiceNow applications.

- Database Concepts : Understanding of relational databases and ServiceNow's data model.

- Web Technologies : Proficiency in RESTful APIs, SOAP, JSON, and XML for integrations.

- Troubleshooting & Debugging : Ability to effectively diagnose and resolve issues within the ServiceNow platform and integrated systems.

Required Qualifications :

To be successful in this role, you must also possess :

- A minimum of 3 years of ServiceNow implementation experience.

- Certified ServiceNow Application Developer (CAD) certification.

- Certified ServiceNow Systems Administrator (CSA) certification.

Preferred Qualifications :

Candidates with the following qualifications will be highly regarded :

- 4+ years of in-depth ServiceNow experience, ideally within the financial domain.

- Certified Implementer in ITSM, ITOM, and Core Platform.

- Experience with ServiceNow ITBM, HRSD, or GRC modules.

Mandatory Skills :

- ServiceNow Certification is a must : CSA minimum, with CAD preferred.

- Excellent communication skills.
