ServiceNow Developer - Level 3

- Location : Bengaluru (Remote role-On and off to office if at all required)

Shift : Night Shift

- Experience: 8-12 Years

- Its a level 3 ServiceNow developer role for someone 5+ Years would be good


- The candidate needs to have strong ITSM module experience.

- Good to have Servicenow IRM Risk and governance

- Needs to have integration skills with other apps via API using REST SOAP

- Good communication skills

Roles & Responsibilities :

The ServiceNOW Developer will work with the ServiceNOW team to support the lifecycle of the ServiceNOW Platform, using established best practices to deliver & support workflows and solutions using the ServiceNOW Platform.

This individual will help support the lifecycle of the ServiceNOW Platform, by participating in the design, development, planning, implementation, configuration, and ongoing support of workflows and solution.

This individual will need to quickly learn existing & new business processes and internal systems in order to transform them into workflows and solutions in the ServiceNOW Platform

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

General Technical Skills :

- Actively manage all aspects of the lifecycle of the ServiceNow platform, including design, development, planning, implementation, configuration, and ongoing support

- Perform ServiceNOW implementation tasks including but not limited to: configuration, integration and testing

- Responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues within the ServiceNow platform

- Develop workflows and applications within the ServiceNow platform, which support the streamlining and automation of business processes

- Develop and mainta integrations between the ServiceNow platform and external systems

- Monitoring and managing platform upgrades, development, QA, and production environments

- Responsible for developing and maintaining documentation related to the ServiceNOW platform

- Make recommendations for improvements regarding the platform, processes, or reporting

- Responsible for user management and support related to the ServiceNow platform

- Works with business departments & key stake holders to understand and clarify business needs, implement solutions and support customers

- Monitor health, usage, and overall compliance of ServiceNow and remedy as needed

- Develop catalog items, process automation, and solutions through no code, low code, and JavaScript code when needed to meet valid business needs

- Collaborates closely with project managers to provide updates on project progress and communicate issues that may impact project success

- Recommends and contributes to development of best practices and standard operating procedures and provides technical expertise for Application Support team

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :

Required :

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

- 3+ years related experience in IT Infrastructure & application management, or equivalent combination of education and experience

- 3+ Years in development with ServiceNOW Platform with focus on the IRM Module

- Experience working with customers to understand requirements and implementing solutions / initiatives in ServiceNOW

- Understanding of Integrated Risk Management (IRM) and common service level agreement (SLA) measurements.

Preferred :

- ServiceNOW Certifications

- Experience with ITIL and IRM / ITSM

- Experience in developing ServiceNOW technologies to drive digital transformation

- Planning, organizing, and managing work in an Agile Scrum work model utilizing Sprint and Kanban processes

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE :

- 1+ Years of ServiceNOW Development

- Proven ability in managing multiple priorities, with the ability to work in a fast-paced agile environment

- Exceptional planning, organizational, analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills

- Demonstrated customer service and interpersonal skills in communication, both written and verbal at all levels of an organization
