ServiceNow Developer - ITOM Module

Key Responsibilities :

- Customization & Configuration : Perform advanced configurations, customizations, and enhancements across various ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, Security Operations, GRC, etc.

- Integration : Develop and maintain integrations with external systems using various methods such as REST/SOAP APIs, MID Servers, IntegrationHub, and other integration technologies.

- Performance & Optimization : Optimize ServiceNow instance performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system stability and scalability.

- Code Quality & Best Practices : Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following ServiceNow best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines.

- Technical Design : Translate business requirements into robust technical designs and specifications.

- Mentorship & Guidance : Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, participate in code reviews, and ensure high-quality deliverables.

- Upgrade & Patch Management : Assist with ServiceNow platform upgrades, patching, and cloning activities.

- Documentation : Create and maintain technical design documents, test plans, and other relevant documentation.

- Collaboration : Work closely with Business Analysts, Architects, QA teams, and other stakeholders to deliver successful solutions.

Qualifications :

- 10+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and administration.

- Mandatory : Strong proficiency in JavaScript, GlideScript, Jelly, HTML, CSS, and AngularJS

within the ServiceNow platform.

- Extensive experience with various ServiceNow modules (e., ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM).

- Proven experience in developing integrations using ServiceNow APIs (REST/SOAP) and

IntegrationHub.

- Solid understanding of ServiceNow data model, platform architecture, and security best

practices.

- Experience with ServiceNow upgrades and release management.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.

- Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.

- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) is highly preferred.

- Additional certifications (e., Certified System Administrator - CSA, ITSM, ITOM) are a plus
