About the Role :

We are urgently hiring a Senior ServiceNow Developer with deep expertise in ServiceNow development, ITOM, and CMDB. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in implementing and enhancing ServiceNow modules, managing integrations, maintaining CMDB accuracy, and optimizing ITOM capabilities. This role requires a seasoned professional who can independently design, develop, troubleshoot, and deliver high-quality solutions within the ServiceNow platform.

Experience Requirements :

- 10+ years of overall software development experience

- 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience

- 3+ years of experience working with ITOM/CMDB modules

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, configure, and implement end-to-end solutions across ServiceNow modules including CSM, ITSM (Problem/Change), ITOM (CMDB, Discovery, Mapping).

- Build and customize applications using JavaScript, Glide API, Script Includes, Business Rules, and platform automation tools.

- Develop workflows using Flow Designer, Workflow Editor, and Orchestration.

- Manage integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, including inbound and outbound service interactions.

- Implement authentication mechanisms including OAuth 2.0 and Basic Auth.

- Work with JSON, XML, and structured data for API-based integrations.

- Oversee and enhance ITOM functions such as :

1. CMDB data modeling, relationships, and dependencies

2. CMDB Health, Discovery Schedules, and data certification

3. Service Mapping, application services, and business service visibility

- Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize MID Servers, including credentials management, probes, sensors, and integration flows.

- Utilize IntegrationHub for data pipelines, orchestrations, and automated sync processes.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and deliver high-quality outputs.

- Ensure platform best practices, performance optimization, security compliance, and data integrity.

Technical Skill Requirements :

Core ServiceNow Expertise :

- Strong expertise with CSM, ITSM (Problem/Change), ITOM (CMDB/Discovery/Mapping).

- Proficient in ServiceNow development, configuration, administration, and customizations.

Hands-on with :

- JavaScript

- Glide API

- Script Includes

- Business Rules

- Client Scripts

- UI Policies & Server-side scripting

Experience with :

- Flow Designer

- Workflow Editor

- Orchestration

- Strong understanding of MID Server architecture and integrations.

Integration Skills :

- Data handling using JSON & XML

ITOM / CMDB Expertise :

- CMDB class structures, dependency mapping, and relationship models

- CMDB Health dashboards, completeness, correctness, and compliance

- Discovery scheduling, probes, sensors, and pattern tuning

- Application and business service mapping for end-to-end visibility

- Experience with IntegrationHub, MID Server integrations, and data synchronization workflows
