Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer with 7+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and administering ServiceNow solutions within enterprise environments. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Service Catalog, workflow automation, integrations, and platform customization.

The role requires collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, efficient, and high-quality ServiceNow solutions that enhance IT service delivery and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications based on business and technical requirements.

- Develop and enhance ITSM modules including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, and Service Catalog Management.

- Implement and support ITOM capabilities including Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and CMDB enhancements.

- Configure forms, tables, lists, UI Policies, Client Scripts, Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, and ACLs.

- Develop workflows and Flow Designer automations to streamline business processes.

- Design and maintain Service Catalog items, record producers, request workflows, and approval processes.

- Build and maintain integrations with third-party applications using REST APIs, SOAP, IntegrationHub, and MID Server.

- Configure and maintain CMDB, ensuring data accuracy, governance, and lifecycle management of Configuration Items (CIs).

- Create dashboards, reports, Performance Analytics, and KPIs to monitor platform performance and operational metrics.

- Perform platform upgrades, enhancements, patch management, and release deployments.

- Troubleshoot application issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.

- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to ServiceNow development best practices.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders, solution architects, infrastructure teams, and support teams to deliver scalable solutions.

- Coordinate with offshore development teams and third-party vendors to ensure timely project delivery.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, estimation, and release management activities.

- Prepare technical documentation, solution designs, and operational runbooks.

- Ensure platform security, governance, compliance, and performance optimization.

Required Skillsets :

- Strong experience in ServiceNow platform development and administration.

- Hands-on expertise in ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM).

- Strong knowledge of IT Operations Management (ITOM).

- Experience with Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, and Service Catalog Management.

- Expertise in ServiceNow Flow Designer and Workflow Editor.

- Strong experience with Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, Script Includes, and ACLs.

- Experience developing custom applications using ServiceNow App Engine.

- Strong understanding of CMDB architecture, Discovery, Service Mapping, and Configuration Item lifecycle management.

- Hands-on experience with IntegrationHub, REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, and MID Server.

- Experience with JavaScript, Glide API, HTML, CSS, and XML.

- Knowledge of Service Portal customization and UI Builder.

- Experience with Performance Analytics, reporting, and dashboards.

- Familiarity with Update Sets, Source Control, and application migration.

- Understanding of platform security, access controls, and governance.

- Experience with Agile, Scrum, and DevOps methodologies.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).

- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).

- ServiceNow ITSM Implementation Specialist Certification.

- ServiceNow ITOM Implementation Specialist Certification.

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

- Exposure to scripting automation and CI/CD pipelines.

- Experience working in large enterprise or global delivery environments.
