ServiceNow Developer

Description :

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in ServiceNow scripting, integrations, and platform customization, with a strong understanding of enterprise workflows and automation.

Key Responsibilities :

- Work on at least one additional module such as HRSD, CSM, ITOM, ITAM, HAM, SAM, or Service Portal.

- Business Rules

- Client Scripts

- UI Policies / UI Actions

- Script Includes

- Flow Designer / Workflows

- Build and manage Service Catalog items, Record Producers, and Portals.

- Develop and maintain integrations with third-party systems using :

1. REST APIs / SOAP APIs

2. MID Server

- Write efficient server-side and client-side scripts using JavaScript / Glide APIs.

- Participate in requirement gathering, solution design, and technical documentation.

- Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, architects, and QA.

- Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices, coding standards, and governance policies.

- Support instance upgrades, patching, and release management activities.

Required Skills :

- Expertise in ITSM module (Incident, Problem, Change, Request)

- Proficiency in :

1. JavaScript

3. ServiceNow Scripting (Client & Server-side)

4. HRSD (HR Service Delivery)

5. CSM (Customer Service Management)

6. ITOM (IT Operations Management)

7. ITAM (IT Asset Management)

13. MID Server configuration (preferred)

- Experience with Flow Designer / Automation Engine

- Knowledge of CMDB & Discovery

- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies

- ServiceNow certifications (CSA / CAD / CIS modules)

- Experience in UI Builder / Now Experience Framework
