Job Summary :


We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer with strong hands-on expertise in ITSM, CSM, and HRSD modules to design, develop, and enhance enterprise-level ServiceNow solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep technical knowledge of ServiceNow workflows, integrations, and platform capabilities, along with exposure to AI-driven workflows, prompt engineering, and structured data handling.


This role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, product teams, and technical architects to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing ServiceNow solutions in a customer-facing, remote work environment.


Key Responsibilities :


ServiceNow Development & Configuration :


- Design, develop, configure, and implement ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, CSM, and HRSD modules.


- Configure and customize Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Case Management, SLAs, and Knowledge Management processes.


- Create and maintain workflows, flow designer flows, business rules, client scripts, script includes, UI policies, UI actions, and notifications.


- Develop and customize Service Portals and portals for CSM and HRSD, including forms, widgets, and catalog items.


- Build and manage Service Catalogs, order guides, record producers, and request fulfillment workflows.


Integrations & Data Handling :


- Work with JSON payloads for REST and SOAP integrations, including API request/response handling.


- Handle structured data exchange between ServiceNow and external systems.


- Utilize SQL concepts for data analysis, validation, reporting, and troubleshooting.


- Create and manage Import Sets and Transform Maps for data migration and third-party integrations.


Enterprise Scenario Design & AI Exposure :


- Design realistic enterprise-level scenarios that align ServiceNow capabilities with business processes.


- Support AI-driven workflows, including exposure to AI model training processes and structured training data preparation.


- Apply prompt engineering principles to craft effective instructions for AI-assisted workflows and automation use cases.


- Assist in improving automation, routing, and knowledge recommendations using AI-supported features.


Analysis, Troubleshooting & Quality :


- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for incidents, defects, and performance issues.


- Troubleshoot complex platform, integration, and workflow issues independently.


- Ensure solutions follow ServiceNow best practices, scalability standards, and security guidelines.


- Conduct unit testing and support UAT and production deployments.


Collaboration & Communication :


- Act as a customer-facing technical resource, engaging with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide solutions.


- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Owners, Architects, QA, and Support teams.


- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.


- Document technical designs, workflows, and solutions using standard documentation tools.


Required Skills & Qualifications :


Mandatory Skills :


- 46+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.


- Minimum 2 years of experience each with :


ITSM


CSM


HRSD


- Strong understanding of workflows, cases, incidents, requests, SLAs, and knowledge management.


- Proficiency in JSON authoring and working with structured data.


- Solid understanding of SQL for data analysis and validation.


- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and logical reasoning skills.


- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


Preferred / Bonus Qualifications :


- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).


- Certified Implementation Specialist ITSM (CIS-ITSM).


- Any one of :


CIS-CSM


CIS-HRSD


- Exposure to AI/ML workflows, AI model training, or training data preparation.


- Good knowledge of prompt engineering concepts.


- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum / Kanban).


- Experience working in a remote, distributed team environment.
