Manage and optimize virtualization platforms, ensure the smooth operation of server infrastructure, develop automation scripts, implement effective monitoring solutions, and support system performance improvements while adhering to organizational processes and collaborating with other teams. The candidate needs to have 3 years of experience managing Linux and Windows server.

Key Responsibilities :

- 24/7 Operations & Incident Support : Participate in rotating on-call support for critical system incidents.

- Active Directory Administration : Manage multi-domain AD environments, users, groups, servers, GPOs, and tiering models at Domain Admin level.

- Backup & Recovery Management : Administer Veeam, backup appliances (StoreOnce, DataDomain), enforce policies, monitor jobs, and perform restoration tests.

- Server Administration : Handle server deployment, patching, software management, updates, and cybersecurity compliance.

- Database Support : Manage SQL Server clusters and instances, databases, users, and provide basic Oracle administration.

- Virtualization Platforms : Operate and maintain Hyper-V and VMware platforms, including server provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and hardware management.

- Scripting & Automation : Develop automation and monitoring scripts using PowerShell, shell scripting, and Ansible playbooks.

- Monitoring & Performance : Configure and manage monitoring tools (Nagios/Centreon), thresholds, alerts, and custom monitoring scripts.

- IT Service Management : Use ServiceNow for incident/request handling, change management, and CMDB/inventory updates.

- Networking, Support & Documentation : Coordinate IP/VLAN management, virtual networking, support development teams, optimize performance, and maintain documentation.

REQUIRED TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES :

- Operating Systems Expertise : Strong proficiency in Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS) and Windows Server environments.

- Active Directory & Identity Services : Hands-on experience with AD users, GPOs, trusts, and DNS.

- Security & Hardening : Server hardening, patch management, and vulnerability mitigation on Windows and Linux systems.

- Server & Infrastructure Management : Installation, configuration, and maintenance of physical and virtual servers.
