Roles & Responsibilities :

- Utilize strong knowledge and experience in Linux systems, particularly Red Hat Linux OpenShift, OpenStack, and Ansible.

- Troubleshoot and conduct root cause analysis of server hardware and operating system issues.

- Monitor server logs and critical errors for proactive support.

- Tune various parameters of the operating system to optimize performance.

- Manage installation, reinstallation, and change management of operating systems and hardware components.

- Collaborate with OEMs for service and spare availability as per SLA.

- Provide assistance to application service providers for OS-related configurations.

- Monitor server performance and resource utilization.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (B./B.Tech/MCA).

- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in server hardware and operating systems.

- Certification in MCSE, RHCE, or equivalent.

- Experience in handling server hardware from various OEMs.

- Strong understanding and experience with server-based operating systems.

- Excellent troubleshooting skills and root cause analysis abilities.

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with OEMs, project managers, and other stakeholders effectively.

- Proactive approach to problem-solving and support.

Reporting Structure :

- The Technical Specialist - Server will report to the Project Manager.

Mandatory Skill Sets :

- Red Hat OpenShift Platform : Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting Red Hat OpenShift environments.

- Red Hat Ansible : Strong skills in using Red Hat Ansible for automation and orchestration.

- OS Linux : In-depth knowledge and experience with Linux operating systems.

- Red Hat OpenStack Platform : Expertise in managing and deploying Red Hat OpenStack environments
