Role : Sensor Validation Engineer

We're looking for a highly skilled Sensor Validation Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience and a strong background in sensor validation and Python scripting. This is a work-from-office position.

Key Responsibilities :

- Validate and verify sensor device drivers on both Windows and Linux platforms.

- Develop and maintain robust Python automation scripts for sensor validation tests.

- Debug issues at both the driver and platform levels, utilizing tools such as Windbg, ETL trace, and Crash Analysis.

- Work with various sensors including accelerometers, gyroscopes, magnetometers, and human presence detection sensors.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and performance.

Mandatory Skills :

- Strong proficiency in Python script development.

- Hands-on experience with device driver validation.

- In-depth understanding of I2C and UART communication protocols.

- Strong knowledge of Zephyr RTOS firmware validation and RISC-V architecture.

- Solid grasp of the core internals of Windows and Linux operating systems and their respective device driver architectures.

- Familiarity with industry certifications like WHQL.

- Experience with Microsoft sensor validation tools such as HLK Motion Sensor Tests, Sensor Diagnostic Tool, and Sensor Explorer.

- Proficiency in using H/W Protocol Analyzers like Beagle I2C/SPI and Saleae Logic Analyzer.

Desired Skills :

- Knowledge of C/C++.

- Understanding of Sensor APIs and the MSFT sensor framework.
