Job Title : IDMC Platform Architect / Solution Architect

Experience Required : 10+ years overall IT experience with 5+ years in Informatica Cloud (IDMC) platform architecture and implementation

Educational Qualification : 15 years full-time education in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline

Role Overview :

The IDMC Platform Architect / Solution Architect will lead the end-to-end architecture, setup, and operational governance of Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) platforms. The role involves designing scalable and secure data integration frameworks, enabling platform integrations with enterprise tools like ServiceNow, Snowflake, and Dun & Bradstreet (D&B), and ensuring reliable platform operations support.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Platform Architecture & Setup :

- Design and implement the overall IDMC architecture aligning with enterprise data strategy.

- Lead the configuration and setup of IDMC components including CDI, CAI, CDQ, and Data Governance.

- Establish standards for security, scalability, and compliance across IDMC environments (Dev, QA, Prod).

- Manage connectivity setup with on-prem and cloud systems using Secure Agents and runtime environments.

2. Solution Design & Delivery :

- Translate business requirements into IDMC solutions, including data integration, application integration, and data quality use cases.

- Define best practices for reusability, modularity, and performance optimization of mappings and tasks.

- Collaborate with Data Architects, Integration Architects, and DevOps teams for cohesive solution delivery.

3. Platform Operations & Support :

- Oversee platform health, upgrades, and performance tuning.

- Implement proactive monitoring, alerting, and incident response mechanisms.

- Manage ServiceNow integration for ticketing and change management.

- Ensure platform reliability, SLAs, and compliance with governance frameworks.

4. Integrations :

- Design and implement integration patterns between IDMC and key platforms like :

- ServiceNow : for incident/change management automation.

- Snowflake : for data ingestion, transformation, and metadata exchange.

- Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) : for enriching and validating customer and vendor data.

- Define and maintain APIs, connectors, and automation workflows.

5. Governance & Collaboration :

- Establish data governance and access control frameworks within IDMC.

- Support audits, compliance, and metadata management processes.

- Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions and mentor teams on IDMC best practices.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Hands-on expertise in Informatica IDMC (CDI, CDQ, CAI, Cloud Data Governance, CLAIRE AI).

- Strong understanding of data architecture principles, cloud integration patterns, and data security.

- Proven experience with ServiceNow, Snowflake, and D&B integrations.

- Proficiency in API management, REST/SOAP web services, and CI/CD automation.

- Experience with platform monitoring, operations support, and incident management.

- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Good to Have :

- Experience in Informatica Axon, EDC, or MDM.

- Knowledge of AWS / Azure / GCP integration services.

- Experience in data governance frameworks and policies.

- Certification in Informatica Cloud Architect / Data Integration or related field.
