Job Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Workday Extend Senior Engineer with strong expertise in Workday Payroll Effective Change Interface (PECI).

The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, designing and implementing integration solutions, testing, and supporting Workday Extend enhancements, releases, and maintenance.

This role requires a deep understanding of Workday integrations, data quality management, and the ability to solve complex business problems across HR, Finance, and related domains.

Key Responsibilities :

Integration Design & Development :

- Analyze requirements and design Workday Extend solutions to meet business needs.

- Develop, implement, and maintain integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, PECI, and supporting third-party coding tools.

- Ensure seamless integration between Workday and external applications across HR, Finance, and other modules.

Data Management & Quality :

- Comprehend data integrations from point-to-point systems as well as holistic interchange services.

- Ensure effective data quality and dependable exchanges of digital information.

- Validate, troubleshoot, and optimize integration processes to maintain high data accuracy and reliability.

Problem Solving & Risk Management :

- Identify, assess, and solve complex business and technical problems related to Workday integrations.

- Analyze variable factors affecting integration and propose alternative functional and technical solutions.

- Timely identification and escalation of risks, issues, and dependencies to ensure smooth project execution.

Testing & Support :

- Design and support testing of Workday integration code base, ensuring proper functionality and performance.

- Participate in release management, enhancements, and ongoing maintenance activities.

- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Workday Extend solutions and integrations.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 9 to 10 years of relevant experience in Workday Extend and Workday Integrations.

- Hands-on expertise in Workday Payroll Effective Change Interface (PECI).

- Strong experience with Workday Studio, EIB, and integration frameworks.

- Proven track record of designing, implementing, and supporting Workday integration solutions.

- Solid understanding of HR and Finance processes and systems.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of working with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills :

- Knowledge of third-party coding and integration tools.

- Experience in managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Understanding of Workday security and compliance practices.

Education :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
