Role Summary :
We are seeking a seasoned AM/M/Senior Manager with deep Workday domain expertise to lead delivery recovery efforts across large-scale Workday programs. This role is pivotal in stabilizing engagements, re-establishing governance, driving operational excellence, and restoring client confidence through structured execution and executive-level communication.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead recovery, stabilization, and realignment of complex and troubled Workday delivery programs
- Own end-to-end recovery lifecycle : issue identification, impact analysis, recovery solutioning, and execution
- Establish and govern delivery frameworks aligned to TDLC, Agile, and SAFe
- Re-baseline delivery plans, manage RAID logs, and realign commitments with client expectations
- Track and improve Delivery Experience (DEX) and reduce Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ)
- Monitor key metrics : SPI, burn rate, margin, forecast accuracy, budget compliance, and EAC
- Identify cost leakages and lead commercial resets and financial recoveries
- Support Steering Committees, executive reviews, and governance forums
- Ensure compliance with audits, InfoSec, quality gates, and contractual obligations
- Provide hands-on support for complex technical and program-level challenges
- Drive continuous improvement, agile excellence, and quality frameworks
- Mentor delivery teams, coach managers, and build reusable recovery assets
- Manage workforce planning, onboarding quality, and delivery readiness
- Exposure to GenAI technologies and modernization initiatives
Must-Have Qualifications :
- 10-20 years of experience in large-scale program delivery, with deep focus on Workday Extend, Workday Data Mapping & Conversion, Workday Advanced Compensation, and Workday Core HCM, Workday Core Integration.
- Proven track record of leading delivery recovery efforts for global enterprise clients.
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead governance and recovery planning under pressure.
Nice-to-Have :
- Extensive Workday Core HCM implementation and stabilization experience.
- PMI, PRINCE2, or equivalent project/program management certification.
- Workday or other ERP platform certifications (e.g., Workday Pro, Workday Advanced Reporting).
