Role Description :

This is a full-time on-site role for a Windows Server Architect located in Hyderabad. The Windows Server Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing Windows server architecture solutions, developing software, managing integration processes, and overseeing architectural design projects. Day-to day tasks include creating and maintaining server infrastructures, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and managing project timelines to ensure successful delivery.

Role & Responsibilities :

- Architect, design, and implement scalable, secure, and reliable Windows Server infrastructures (2016/2019/2022) to support enterprise operations.

- Oversee the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of Windows Server environments, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.

- Manage and optimize VMware infrastructure, including provisioning, performance tuning, and troubleshooting virtual machines and clusters.

- Administer and maintain Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, and Group Policy Objects (GPOs) for efficient identity, access, and policy management.

- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts and implement infrastructure automation using Ansible or Terraform to streamline deployment and configuration processes.

- Support hybrid environments and contribute to cloud migration or integration projects involving Azure or GCP.

- Work closely with cross-functional IT and DevOps teams, maintaining detailed documentation of system configurations, processes, and changes.

Required Skills :

- 8+ years of Windows Server administration (2016/2019/2022)

- VMware administration experience

- Strong in Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, and Group Policy

- User Access Management (users/groups/roles)

- Shell scripting (create and manage scripts)

- Infrastructure Automation using Ansible / Terraform

- Sound understanding of TCP/IP networking

- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills

- Flexibility for after-hours support when needed

Desired Skills :

- Server hardware experience : Cisco UCS, HPe Synergy, HPe DL360

- Experience in cloud platforms : Azure / GCP

- Exposure to Linux server administration

- Familiar with backup tools like Veeam, Cohesity
