Your Responsibilities :

- Lead the design and execution of visually stunning, user-centric, and highly functional websites in Figma, from initial wireframes and prototypes to high-fidelity mockups.

- Translate client briefs and strategic objectives into compelling web design solutions, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and optimal user experience.

- Collaborate closely with our marketing and content teams, and liaise effectively with our in-house and remote development teams, ensuring a seamless handover of designs and providing ongoing support during the development phase.

- Develop and maintain comprehensive design systems and component libraries within Figma to ensure consistency, efficiency, and scalability across all web projects.

- Occasionally conceptualise and execute other digital design assets, such as social media graphics, email templates, or digital display ads, maintaining brand consistency across all platforms.

- Articulate design concepts and rationale clearly and persuasively to both internal teams, including developers, and clients, fostering a shared understanding of the creative vision and design decisions.

- Optimise designs for performance, accessibility, and responsiveness across various devices and browsers, ensuring a seamless and inclusive user experience.

- Stay abreast of the latest web design trends, UI/UX best practices, and Figma features to continuously push creative boundaries and offer innovative solutions to our clients.

- Utilise, or be eager to learn, emerging AI tools to enhance workflows and expand our creative potential in web design.

Youll Have :

- 10+ years of proven experience as a Web Designer or UI Designer, with a strong emphasis on agency or freelance work.

- Exceptional proficiency in Figma for wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity web design, including a solid understanding of its advanced features like Auto Layout, components, and design tokens.

- A robust portfolio showcasing impactful web design projects, demonstrating a refined aesthetic, strong UI/UX principles, and problem-solving capabilities.

- Solid understanding of web design fundamentals, including HTML, CSS, responsive design principles, and how designs translate into functional websites (no coding required for this role, but understanding the possibilities and limitations is key).

- Knowledge of Content Management Systems (CMS) such as WordPress and Shopify is highly beneficial.

- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator) for supporting graphic creation and manipulation where needed.

- A keen eye for detail, strong typography skills, and a deep understanding of layout, colour theory, and visual hierarchy.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to articulate design rationale and engage effectively with clients and technical teams.

- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple web design projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality work within fast-paced agency deadlines.

- A curiosity for emerging design technologies and a proactive approach to continuous learning.
