Role Overview :
We are seeking a Senior UX Designer to lead the design of scalable, accessible, and user-centric interfaces for our examination platforms. You will work closely with academic stakeholders and development teams to translate real-world examination processes into elegant digital workflows.
Key Responsibilities :
1) Lead UX design across modules including :
- Blueprinting & Question Bank Management (QBMS)
- Question Paper Management System (QPMS)
- Onscreen Marking System (OSM)
- Scanning & Evaluation Interfaces
- Token-based Test Access Portals
- Role-based Dashboards for faculty, evaluators, and admins
2) Design for multiple exam types :
- Term End Exams (paper-based & onscreen)
- Internal Assessments (continuous evaluation)
- Admission Tests (secure candidate access)
- Distance Education Exams (online delivery)
3) Conduct user research and usability testing with faculty and students.
4) Collaborate with product managers, developers, and academic teams in Agile sprints.
5) Ensure accessibility (WCAG), responsiveness, and performance across devices.
6) Maintain and evolve a unified design system for companies platforms.
Required Skills & Experience :
- 6+ years of UX design experience in web-based platforms, preferably in EdTech or academic systems.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating UX for complex, multi-role workflows.
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or equivalent tools.
- Experience with role-based access models and academic data visibility.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Preferred Experience :
- Designing for examination systems, AMS, or university ERP platforms.
- Understanding of academic workflows and assessment models.
- Experience with secure test delivery, token-based access, and evaluation UX.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design.
