Job Description :

Experience :

- Minimum of 4+ years of UI automation testing experience

- Mandatory Experience in building QA UI Automation frameworks : Cucumber or JBehave, Selenium, Katalon etc

Mandatory Skills :

- Mandatory Basic knowledge on LLM and NLP models

- Mandatory Automation of Chat-GPT, Gemini prompts

- Mandatory Should have good proficiency in any scripting language : Javascript/ Python/ Groovy

- Mandatory Worked on generating automation test scripts leveraging cloud based Gen AI tool on Azure, GCP etc

- Desired Good knowledge of integration automation with CI Tools (Jenkins, GitHub etc)

- Desired Experience in banking or payments domain Desired

Core Responsibilities :

Design and Develop Automated UI Tests :

- Create, maintain, and optimize automated test scripts for banking applications using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.

- Ensure automation coverage across various browsers and platforms.

Understand Banking Workflows :

- Collaborate with business analysts and domain experts to understand complex banking processes (e.g., payments, loan processing, KYC, etc.).

- Translate business requirements into test cases.

- Framework Development and Maintenance

- Build and maintain scalable test automation frameworks.

- Implement reusable functions and libraries to support testing of financial applications.

Integration with CI/CD :

- Integrate UI automation into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.

- Ensure tests are triggered and reported as part of daily/continuous builds.

Test Planning and Documentation :

- Participate in test planning and estimation activities.

- Document test cases, automation coverage, and test results clearly.

- Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams

- Work closely with developers, QA, DevOps, and product teams.

- Provide early feedback and ensure defects are reported, tracked, and resolved.

- Regulatory and Security Compliance

- Ensure automation tests comply with security and regulatory requirements of the banking industry (e.g., PCI-DSS, SOX).

- Automate tests for secure login, session handling, and encryption scenarios.

Defect Analysis and Reporting :

- Identify, report, and assist in troubleshooting UI-related issues.

- Use tools like JIRA, TestRail, or Azure DevOps for defect tracking.

- Cross-Browser & Device Testing

- Validate UI behavior across supported browsers and mobile platforms used by banking customers.

- Performance Monitoring (Basic)

- Optionally integrate light performance checks within UI tests for responsiveness.

Optional (Advanced/Preferred) Skills :

- Experience with Banking products or core banking systems.

- Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman, Rest Assured.

- Familiarity with BDD tools (Cucumber, SpecFlow).

- Experience with accessibility testing and tools like Axe or Wave.

- Exposure to cloud-based testing (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
