We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Test Engineer with 4+ years of experience in QA Automation.

The ideal candidate will be an expert in the development, design, and support of automation test frameworks.

This role requires a strong understanding of both UI and API automation, with hands-on expertise in tools like Selenium and Rest Assured.

You will be responsible for translating complex requirements into robust test cases, managing the entire defect lifecycle, and ensuring the quality of integrated systems through rigorous testing.

Key Responsibilities :

- Framework Development & Design : Lead the design and development of scalable and maintainable automation test frameworks.

You will also be responsible for configuring and implementing the test automation suite according to project structure.

- Test Case Management : Analyze requirements and translate them into effective test cases.

You will be responsible for identifying and selecting the right test cases for automation and ensuring comprehensive coverage.

- Automation & Execution : Create, enhance, debug, and execute automated test cases.

You will come up with solutions for complex problems related to object identity and error handling.

- System Integration Testing : Demonstrate a strong understanding of integrated systems and derive thorough System Integration test cases to ensure seamless functionality.

- Defect & Change Management : Manage the entire defect lifecycle, from collating and monitoring issues to ensuring their resolution.

You will also manage changes and execute regression tests to prevent new defects.

- Reporting & Communication : Share daily status reports with project stakeholders, providing updates on test progress and identified risks.

You will also interact directly with clients like Caterpillar to resolve issues and provide updates.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work with various teams to ensure alignment on testing requirements and deliverables.

You will also assist with task automation using Python scripting to improve efficiency.

Required Skills & Technologies :

- 4+ years of professional experience in QA Automation.

- Strong knowledge of UI Automation with hands-on experience in Selenium and Java.

- Strong knowledge of API Automation with experience in tools like Rest Assured or Karate.

- Experience with task automation using Python scripting.

- Hands-on experience with cloud technologies, preferably AWS.

- Proficiency with development tools like Maven, Git, Docker, and Postman.

- Knowledge of writing SQL queries, with a preference for Snowflake or Postgres
