We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Test Engineer with strong expertise in Automation Testing, Robot Framework, and Python scripting to join our growing Quality Engineering team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing and developing robust automation frameworks, executing end-to-end testing activities, and driving quality initiatives across enterprise applications.

As a Senior Test Engineer, you will be responsible for validating complex business applications through a combination of manual and automated testing approaches.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, product owners, and DevOps engineers, to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead end-to-end QA activities for enterprise applications.

- Design comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test scenarios.

- Perform Functional, Integration, Regression, System, and UAT testing.

- Develop, maintain, and enhance automation frameworks using Robot Framework.

- Create and execute automated test scripts using Python.

- Work with Selenium WebDriver, PyTest, TestNG, and BDD/Cucumber frameworks.

- Build reusable automation components and improve existing test suites.

- Execute API testing and automation using Postman or similar tools.

- Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines.

- Track defects using Jira and coordinate with development teams for timely resolution.

- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews.

- Generate test reports, dashboards, and quality metrics for stakeholders.

- Mentor junior QA team members and promote automation best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- 7 to 15 years of experience in Software Testing and QA Automation.

- Strong hands-on experience with Robot Framework and Python scripting.

- Expertise in Selenium WebDriver.

- Experience with PyTest, TestNG, Cucumber, or BDD frameworks.

- Solid understanding of STLC, SDLC, and Agile methodologies.

- Experience in developing Data-Driven, Hybrid, or Page Object Model frameworks.

- Hands-on experience in API testing using Postman.

- Exposure to Jenkins, Git/GitHub, Maven, and CI/CD practices.

- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience working on transportation or railroad domain applications will be an added advantage.

- Exposure to enterprise-scale application environments.

- Understanding of security testing concepts and integration testing practices.
