Senior Test Engineer - JMeter

We are looking for a Senior Test Engineer who can help us build and advocate Quality in all stages of the development life-cycle.

This position is responsible for the identification and execution of application testing.

This includes the identification of Functional, Technical, and integration-related defects, as well as the effective documentation of defects to expedite resolution.

Timings : US Shift (5PM-2AM).

Notice Period Immediate to 30 days.

Responsibilities :

- Participation in Test Scenarios and Test Case identification/authoring.

- Should handle the Test plan.

- Understanding the business and Creation & Maintenance of Test Scenarios and Test Cases.

- Identification and Maintenance of Test Data.

- Should actively work on Web, Mobile, and API Testing.

- Proactively identify functional, technical, and integration-related defects.

- Perform preliminary troubleshooting of defects to facilitate quick resolution.

- Effectively communicate issues and risks in addition to daily testing status to the Product Manager.

- Delivers day-to-day assignments with a high level of quality and attention to detail.

- Successfully multi-task across project and non-project assignments, delivering on time by the priorities identified by the QA Manager.

Qualifications :

- Required : 5+ years of experience in software testing in Banking Industry preferred.

- Strong experience in performance testing of platforms and APIs using JMeter, Locust, open-source frameworks, or custom tools built in-house.

- Experience with analyzing test results, identifying performance defects, and making recommendations for resolution.

- Experience integrating performance tests with Continuous Delivery pipelines.

- Work experience in a full software development lifecycle and exposure to change & defect management.
