Role : Senior Test Automation Engineer Commodities Trading Domain only

Experience : 5 to 12 Years

Location : Bangalore (Hybrid Work from office 3 days a week)

Notice Period : Immediate or 15 Days.

Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Automation Engineer with strong expertise in automation frameworks, commodities trading systems, and Agile methodologies.

The ideal candidate will have hands on experience in designing and implementing automated testing solutions, risk-based testing strategies, and working in fast-paced Agile environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright (TypeScript), Cypress, and C#

- Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions

- Perform manual and exploratory testing for complex scenarios

- Collaborate with development teams for risk-based test prioritization

- Conduct mobile testing (Android/iOS) using LambdaTest

- Perform email testing using eStaf

- Work in Agile environments (Sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)

- Utilize AI-assisted tools for code generation and test optimization

- Debug and resolve issues across automation and application layers

- Ensure test coverage for network components and relational databases

- Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance

- Communicate effectively with stakeholders

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Technical Skills :

Strong expertise in :

- Playwright (TypeScript), Cypress, C#

- SQL (PostgreSQL, MSSQL, MySQL, SQLite)

- Test automation frameworks & best practices

- GitHub pipelines and CI/CD integration

- JIRA (JQL, dashboards)

- VS Code / Visual Studio

- AI-assisted coding tools (e., Copilot)

- Network fundamentals and database concepts

Experience with :

- Mobile testing (Android/iOS) via LambdaTest

- Email testing using eStaf

Domain Knowledge :

- Experience in Commodities Trading (Gas/Oil Futures) or related financial instruments

Methodologies :

- Strong experience in Agile software development and testing
