The Senior Technology Automation Engineer role exists to provide software development and system configuration expertise for all things related to automated service fulfilment, remediation, and reporting automation across a variety of technology products and platforms in use at Assurant. The Senior Technology Automation Engineer works with other engineers across a variety of disciplines to implement and support solutions that reduce and eliminate manual work needed to provide IT services and support.

Must Have :

- Working experience as an Automation, Cloud, DevOps, Software, or Systems engineer. This requirement can be met by combinations of experience in the specified IT engineering disciplines.

- Implementing and maintaining automation product and component solutions through software development, system configuration, and peer code reviews.

- Stewarding the software and automation COE through automation product design review to ensure alignment to implementation intentions, reuse of existing components, and assessment of levels of effort.

- Providing support, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for issues affecting automation

that is currently in production .

Mandate Technology Skills :

- Architecture , designing , Implementing core .NET , Azure , AWS

- Experience as an Administrator

- Backend & Architecture

- Cloud & DevOps

- Frontend & UI

Preferred Technology Skills :

- Configuration management using Ansible and Ansible Tower.

- Distributed identity management using SailPoint for managing Active Directory and EntraID

users and groups.
