Job Description:

Role & responsibilities:

The organisation is looking for a Senior Technical Lead - Product Engineering for a SaaS product. The role will work closely with the Product Engineering Head and take ownership of solutioning, technical execution, and engineering quality.

This is a technical leadership role for someone who can convert product and business requirements into practical technical solutions, guide engineers, review design/code quality, and own outcomes.

The role is expected to lead a team of around 8-10 software engineers. The right person should brings high ownership, independent thinking, and a practical solution oriented approach.

Preferred candidate profile:

- 8 to 10 years of experience in product engineering, technical leadership, solution design, or architecture-adjacent roles.

- Strong working knowledge of .NET, React, MongoDB, APIs, integrations, and SaaS product environments.

- Experience working in a B2B SaaS, enterprise product, RegTech, FinTech, compliance technology, reporting platform, or workflow automation environment.

- Ability to understand business/product requirements and convert them into practical, scalable, maintainable technical solutions.

- Good understanding of code quality, design reviews, testing, release discipline, documentation, DevOps/CI-CD, and maintainability.

- Awareness of enterprise security, data privacy, auditability, GDPR, DPDP India, access controls, and compliance-sensitive software environments.

- Demonstrated AI-first approach to engineering and problem-solving would be an added advantage; experience with AI-assisted development tools in regulated enterprise environments will be preferred.

- Prior experience leading or guiding a small engineering team is essential.

- Strong ownership, problem-solving ability, communication skills, and product/business orientation.
