Senior Technical Lead - Embedded System

Description :

This role requires a balance of hands-on development, technical leadership, and client interaction.

The ideal candidate will take ownership of end-to-end technical delivery, drive architectural decisions, and ensure alignment between business requirements and engineering execution.

Technical Leads are expected to bridge system design and implementation while guiding teams and ensuring quality delivery

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead end-to-end technical design, development, and delivery of embedded/networking solutions

- Break down requirements into technical tasks and execution plans

- Ensure on-time, high-quality delivery with adherence to coding and design standards

- Conduct design reviews, code reviews, and architecture discussions

- Design and develop high-performance embedded applications using C/C++

- Work closely with teams on low-level programming, debugging, and optimization

- Contribute to real-time system development and performance tuning

- Ensure efficient memory, CPU, and latency management

Implement and troubleshoot :

- Layer 2 protocols: IEEE 802.1X, STP, RSTP, VLAN, LLDP, redundancy protocols

- Layer 3 protocols: OSPF, BGP, VRRP, RIP, ARP

- Industrial protocols: Ethernet/IP, PROFINET, OPC UA, DNS, NTP

- Ensure robust network communication, reliability, and interoperability

- Work on system-level security including:

- IPSEC, MACsec

- Secure Boot, Signed Firmware

- Certificate validation, TACACS+

- Ensure secure firmware and communication channels

- Design scalable and modular system architectures for embedded/networking products

- Evaluate and select appropriate protocols, technologies, and frameworks

- Ensure systems meet performance, scalability, and fault-tolerance requirements

- Drive technical feasibility analysis and solution design

- Senior roles are expected to make high-level design decisions and define system interactions across components

- Mentor and guide junior engineers and developers

- Align team members with project goals and technical direction

- Foster a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement

- Support hiring and onboarding of technical talent

- Interact directly with clients for technical discussions, requirement gathering, and solutioning

- Provide technical insights, effort estimation, and feasibility inputs

- Present solutions, architecture, and progress updates to stakeholders
