Purpose : This technical engineer role is a great opportunity to be part of an exciting journey of transition and migration from existing transaction switch to new BASE24 EPS.

An opportunity to demonstrate the technical knowledge, sharpen skills, utilise experience, and perform to deliver.

We are looking for experienced technical engineers who delivered similar outcomes with relevant technical expertise.

This is a critical transition journey of transaction/terminal switch that demands higher technical skills, domain understanding and commitment to deliver quality output on schedule.

This role is for someone who enjoys collaborating with a cross-functional team to develop high standard solutions for seamless transition and migration of systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- To develop, test, and deploy fit-for-purpose software solutions.

This includes CSMs on BASE 24 EPS.

- To configure the BASE24 EPS modules as per the requirements

- To prepare migration scripts

- To configure the interchange specifications like VISA, MasterCard, AMEX, JCB.

- This includes the periodical mandates, updates, test.

- To customise, configure the interfaces.

This includes testing, fixing the issues.

- To configure terminals, ATMs and interfaces

- To configure, test various host systems.

- To configure various security keys for the interchanges, terminals, cards and PVKs

- To configure and integrate BASE24 EPS with HSMs

- To generate required MIS/reports as per business requirements

Skills and Experience :

- 5+ years of experience in Switch systems

- Should have hands-on experience on Base24 eps

- Demonstrable experience in configuration, scripting, use of SDK

- Experience/understanding on Australian and scheme compliance requirements

- Experience with interfacing with card schemes and card scheme formats

- Experience integrating Base24 with other bank systems

- Strong analytical / problem-solving, debugging, testing skills, including use of Test Simulators.

- Strong experience in programming on C++, Java

- Should have experience on Linux, VMware

- Its preferable to have skills and experience of working on cloud systems (Azure, AWS)

- Should have experience on ISO 8583, XML specifications.

- Should have knowledge / experience in implementation, certifications of interchanges like VISA, MasterCard, Amex and JCB.

- Should have knowledge / experience in configuring various security keys for interchanges, terminals and host systems.

- Strong time management skills, written and verbal communication

- An open mindset and proven ability to innovate and influence.

- Tertiary qualification in a relevant technical subject or equivalent experience

- Post graduation/ Graduation in Engineering/science

- Relevant self-learning courses and certifications highly regarded
