Senior Technical Business Analyst - SDLC

Key Responsibilities :

- Gather, analyze, and document detailed business and technical requirements for complex systems

- Create user stories, detailed use cases, technical specifications, and acceptance criteria

- Collaborate closely with development, QA, product & architecture teams to ensure clear understanding of requirements

- Lead backlog grooming, sprint planning, user acceptance testing (UAT), and release planning

- Develop and maintain process workflows, data flow diagrams, API documentation, ER diagrams

- Translate business needs into functional and technical solutions; define system integrations, data flows

- Work with stakeholders (business & technical) to prioritize requirements; manage scope changes and communicate impact

- Conduct impact analysis for new initiatives and system changes

- Participate in system design discussions; recommend improvements and best practices for system maintainability, scalability, performance

- Mentor/junior analysts if applicable; help improve team standards of documentation, review, etc.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5+ years experience as a Technical Business Analyst or similar role

- Strong knowledge of full SDLC (Waterfall / Agile / Scrum)

- Prior coding/scripting experience (e.g. at least one of : Java / Python / JavaScript / .NET / other), or experience writing scripts, working with APIs programmatically

- Solid understanding of system integration, APIs, data flows, databases

- Ability to write SQL queries (at least intermediate level)

- Proficiency with tools like JIRA, Confluence (or similar), wireframing/mockup tools (e.g. Figma, Balsamiq, Sketch)

- Ability to draw technical diagrams (UML, sequence, flow, ER diagrams), wireframes

- Strong analytical thinking, problem's olving, attention to detail

- Excellent communication skills for both technical and non?technical stakeholders

Nice to Have :

- Exposure to cloud architectures / microservices

- Experience with testing / UAT / automation tools
